On April 17th, Kim Soohyun became the face of the Korea Tourism Organization. Given the title of Honorary Ambassador, Kim Soohyun's inauguration was held at the Koran Tourism Organization's headquarters in the Jung District of central Seoul.
It was due to the young actor's wide spread success and fame both nationally and abroad that the CEO of the Korea Tourism Organization picked Kim Soohyun to represent the organization.
When asked about the honor of being chosen and for his new job of promoting South Korea Kim Soohyun stated, "Korea has so many diverse regions, and I believe that there is a place within Korea to suit all tastes. I'll certainly do my best to encourage visits to Korea."
Soohyun has been present in the news quite often as of recent, with his role in the highly successful drama "The Moon That Embraces the Sun""and his upcoming appearance in the summer movie "The Thieves."
