AEG Live to co-produce FTISLAND & CNBLUE Stand-Up by M Live concert

FTISLAND and CNBLUE will be holding a concert in LA with the help of a giant American entertainment company. AEG will be supporting FTISLAND and CNBLUE’s live concert to be held on March 9 in LA’s Nokia Theatre, a venue which could accommodate 5,000 seats.

The concert was made possible when AEG agreed to co-produce a concert that CJ E&M’s global concert brand M-Live had planned. It will be the first Korean concert abroad that was able to bring in the participation of a global entertainment group.

AEG is one of the biggest entertainment groups in America, even owning branches in Europe and China. It boasts access to more than 100 concert venues and manages approximately 55 sports teams. It produces more than 6,200 projects every year in sports and live entertainment such as America’s biggest rock festival in Coachella and concerts for Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake and Usher.

For the M-Live LA concert, AEG provided the Nokia Theatre and took charge of overseas promotions through its global network. Thanks to this support, ticket sales for the FTISLAND and CNBLUE concert are thriving among local American fans. The concert is expected to earn a profit exclusively through ticket sales without sponsor support.

A representative from CJ E&M’s M-Live said, “Many Korean agencies have complained about the lack of local information and trustworthy partners. Our success in bringing in a large overseas group is the first in Korea and this partnership will make the world look at K-Pop with a new perspective and also it will bring up the quality of the concerts.”

The CJ E&M and AEG co-produced “FTISLAND & CNBLUE Stand Up by M Live” concert will be held on March 9 at LA’s Nokia Theatre.

Q1 : Since when did you get interested in music?

YH : Since I was a kid, I like music. I listen to music on TV and and while singing. Then when I think about what I like, “ah it’s music”. Hence, I chose this path and make improvement.

Q2 : What kind of atmosphere is it when you’re together with other members?

YH : Cheerful. I’m always happy being together with the members. We talk about music the most.

Q3 : How do you solve your problem?

YH : I don’t just keep it alone, I discuss it with other members and then I solve it. Fortunately, all members are the type of those who like to listen to stories.

Q4 : What’s your favorite Japanese word?

YH : Hmm .. the Japanese word in my mind right now is “shinpai” (worry). Even though we already made our major debut, but there are still many things to worry about. Of course, I discussed about this too, but there’s still some stuff that make me worry and I keep it alone (laugh). I don’t show it to everyone around me.

Q5 : If you were a girl, which member do you like most?

YH : I would be CNBLUE fans, not only one member. I would join their fanclub too (laugh).

Q6 : Which place in Japan that you want to go for your first date?

YH : I want to go to the sea, like Okinawa. I went there once for “You’re Beautiful” filming but because the weather was not good, so I couldn’t enjoy it. I want to go there once again. Since my hometown is Busan, I like sea a lot.

Q7 : Besides being a musician, you’re an actor too. What’s the happiness of acting in a drama?

YH : In drama, we could become other people. We live in other people’s life. I really enjoy doing that. And then as a musician, I can show my real power on the stage.

Q8 : What is the happiest thing that you have recently?

YH : To be able to make our major debut in Japan. I felt really happy. Though it also means that our activity as an indies band has ended, and that made me sad.

Q9 : 10 years after this, what kind of man would you be?

YH : I want to be a man that lives in cool style. Always being modest, continue to make an awesome songs, and keep growing up. I think that’s cool.

Q10 : What’s your dream and goal in Japan?

YG Entertainment has just unveiled the official poster for Big Bang‘s ‘2012 Big Bang Alive Tour‘!

The poster, which also serves as the official banner for Big Bang’s ‘2012 Big Show‘ — continues to play on the winter theme from “Blue“.

“Blue” was released as Big Bang’s first title track from their 5th mini-album, ‘Alive‘, and it encapsulates themes of sorrow and loss. With lines like “Winter has passed, and Spring has come“, it’s a great song to herald Big Bang’s comeback to the industry.

The poster visually expressed that feeling of suspended activity by having the members pose as if they’re in a cryogenic state — frozen in time, they’re now ready to thaw and come alive once more.

Big Bang will kick off their ‘Big Bang Alive Tour’ with the ’2012 Big Show’ in Seoul, to be held from March 2nd to the 4th.

On February 22nd, producer Park Sanghyuk spoke with OSEN, stating, "Lee Seunggi will record his last episode on March 15th. The episode will be broadcasted on April 3th."

Lee Seunggi has been in discussion with the production team over finding an appropriate time to leave. [News|Trans] CNBLUE – the band who topped the music chart in the shortest time (12.02.22)

Credit|Translated by: BOICE @nok1892

CNBLUE in Thailand Newspaper M2F (12.02.22)

Nowadays, we can acknowledge the popularity of the Korean idols by the total of CDs and concert tickets sold and also from the votes from audiences. All those could tell the public about how hot of an item are they, their songs’ quality and their performances. And as for the new artists, this could be interpreted as what their future holds.

In order to get votes from fans, the idols have to pay extra attention (to their performance) and do good job in delivering the music. This could ensure them to be on the top of the chart.

And from every chart (of music programs) CNBLUE is the number one band who can climb to the top of the chart in the shortest time. It only took them 15 days after their debut and the song I Am A Loner was #1 on the music charts.

The second place is Miss A, they topped the chart 22 days after their debut with Bad Girl Good Girl. 2NE1 is third, topping the chart 40 days after debut and fourth is FTISLAND, they topped the chart with “Love Sick“, 55 days after debut.

Although nowadays many idols can be on top of the music charts but some were not as lucky. Even so, that doesn’t mean they are not accepted by the audiences. Some idols spent a year to reach the top and fans praise their effort and for not being discouraged.
