On February 22nd, producer Park Sanghyuk spoke with OSEN, stating, "Lee Seunggi will record his last episode on March 15th. The episode will be broadcasted on April 3th."

Lee Seunggi has been in discussion with the production team over finding an appropriate time to leave. His participation in the MBC mini series "The King," which see its first episode broadcasted in March, and his upcoming Japan debut schedule mean that it will be hard for him to keep up with his entertainment activities.

In the end, he decided to stay true to his original career paths of singing and acting by stepping down from both KBS' "1 Night 2 Days" and SBS' "Strong Heart."

Producer Park Sanghyuk said, "While the date of the last recording has been set, it is subject to change because of his drama schedule. I'm very grateful to Lee Seunggi, who is putting in his best right to the end so we can have a successful conclusion."

"We are going to look for someone to take over. There are lots of candidates, so we will work hard to pick the right person for the job."

Meanwhile, Lee Seunggi has been singlehandedly hosting "Strong Heart" ever since Kang Hodong went on a voluntary hiatus following his tax evasion case. He will be leaving the program after about six months of solo emceeing.
