Big Bang's latest album "Alive" achieved a double platinum status in Taiwan. The achievement was confirmed by local promoter Warner Music Taiwan. It was revealed that Big Bang's new album sold 20,000 copies, thus earning the double platinum title.

Big Bang's "Alive" is also reported to be the best selling K-Pop album of the week, as confirmed by Taiwan's major music charts G-Music and Five Music. A representative also stated, "Their fifth-mini album 'Alive' is running out of stock right now. It's amazing to see such a feat since they have yet to promote themselves in the country."

The group is scheduled to visit Taiwan on April 9th and 10th to promote the album and meet with the local press.
