JYJ member Kim Junsu will will release his solo debut album next month. The album will consist of songs of different styles, such as ballads, dance tracks, and R&B. C-JeS's Park Changjo commented, "Junsu's talent as a singer is one of the most highly regarded in South Korea. He possesses unique singing skills, good songwriting abilities, and his firm grasp of dance performance has also received recognition and praise from choreographers across the globe." In his upcoming album, Junsu personally took part in the production and wrote most of the song lyrics and melodies.

Junsu will promote his upcoming debut with a tour that will start in Seoul in late May and will continue on to Thailand, Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia, and will wrap up in Shanghai in July. Additional cities are currently still under discussion. A representative of C-JeS stated, "The results from JYJ's showcase and world tour have given us enough confidence to hold a full-scale concert as a comeback stage for Junsu, and then follow-up with the Asia Tour during the album's promotional period."

Fans can expect the album concept to be released progressively, through teaser images, YouTube videos, and their Facebook's photo gallery. The music video will also be revealed together with the full album. American choreographer Jeri Slaughter will be playing a part in the production, as well.

Junsu is currently a member of JYJ. He first debuted as a musical actor with a lead role in "Mozart," and then continued with "Tears of Heaven." He has since been awarded a Musical Daesang in the rookie category, and also a popularity award in "The Musical Awards." Junsu is currently playing the role of "Death" in "Das Musical ELISABETH," where he is receiving positive feedback from both audience members and critics.

Meanwhile, JYJ will be holding a large convention, "2012 JYJ Membership Week," where the members will be able to meet with their fans from June 28th to July 1st.
