JYJ’s Junsu receives double crown at 2012 Golden Ticket Awards


People now recognize JYJ’s Kim Jun Su for his capability in selling out all the tickets of his musicals and concerts.

Recently, the popular booking website for concerts and musicals, Interpark, held the 8th Golden Ticket Awards, and Kim received two awards, Musical Actor Award and Domestic Concert Musician Award.

Previously, the star has risen with his excellent skills as he received the Best Rookie Award and Best Actor Award since his musical debut in 2009. The tickets for all seats at Sejong Culture Hall were sold out when his debut musical Mozart was held. Along with it, his second playTears of Heaven showed similar “ticket power.” Out of 20 plays, 17 plays were full of audience.

In his third work Elizabeth in 2012, Kim appealed with stable acting and singing ability as he plays his transcendent character, Death. The tickets for all 32 plays were sold out in just ten minutes after the sales began.

Moreover, the tickets for 2012 Xia Ballad & Musical Concert with Orchestra held at the end of the year 2012 were all sold out immediately after the ticket sales opened and the seats added up to 21,000.

As he received the award, he said, “I’ve received tremendous love last year. I want to show my gratitude for all the fans who have encouraged me generously every time I appear on stage. I believe the best way to pay back your love for my performances and songs is to come up with the best performance.”
