Infinite featured in Billboard's "K-Pop Rising Star"

Male group Infinite, who has been fast rising to popularity in the last year after debuting in Japan and promoting in Korea, has made it to Billboard's home page as part of the site's "K-Pop Rising Star" segment on January 30th.

Infinite has gained attention of Billboard with their 2012 hit track "The Chaser," impressing Billboard so much that they have named the track as the No.1 K-Pop Song of 2012.

The article covers Infinite's debut in 2010 with "Come Back Again" to their "rekindled spirit" with "Before The Dawn (BTD)" and its scorpion dance, before propelling into popularity in 2011 with "Be Mine."

Infinite said, "We were absolutely blown away when we first heard about it through the news. One of the members said, 'We are this year's No.1 on Billboard' and the rest of us thought it was a mean joke."

"We were more surprised because we've never been to the States and never sang an English-language song. We didn't know how to take it, but nonetheless we were very happy. We are incredibly honored! We are grateful that our song was the selected as the best K-pop song of 2012."

The interview with Billboard also touched on the sub-unit group Infinite-H and leader Sungkyu's recent solo debut.
