Jaejoong’s OST track for “Protect The Boss” performing well on the music charts

Jaejoong’s own song “I’ll Protect You” took 1st place on Naver Music, Daum Music, and Cyworld Music’s Live Chart, taking the top spot on Korea’s 3 major charts, as well as taking the lead on Bugs, Soribada, and other music charts.

JYJ has proved to be an overwhelming force when it comes to OST’s. Along with Jaejoong’s success, OST’s from his fellow members in JYJ have also been a success including “You Are So Beautiful” by Junsu and Yoochun’s “This is the Empty Space For You” which was a hit back in June.

Jaejoong commented about the song, “I thought of the love that you want to protect because it gets further as you get closer when I was writing the song” and that “I ask for everyone’s support as the humorous story unfolds into a peculiar love story of 4 people”.

Affiliates reported that the recording session of Jaejoong’s “I’ll Protect You” occurred with much satisfaction for everyone involved.

Although Jaejoong must have been tired and suffered from lack of sleep due to his rigorous filming schedules, it’s reported during the recording session he repeatedly stated, “I’m not satisfied with that, I want to record it again“, showing his determination to make a great track.

As the song went through re-recording sessions, “I’ll Protect You” came out to be a much more developed song. Affiliates spoke, “As a member of the class vocal group, JYJ, and also as a main character in the drama, “Protect the Boss”, Jaejoong gave all of his efforts to the song“, highly praising the singer.

Netizens commented, “That’s Jaejoong. His professional passion has raised the quality”, “He must have a special tie to the song as he is a main character”, “It must be easier to be emphatic to singing the song since he wrote it”.

Also, “Other OST’s are really good, too”, “I feel like “Protect the Boss” is going to find success in their soundtrack and as a drama”, “I’m feeling good because I think Jaejoong is being recognized in both acting and singing”.

A person in the department of SBS’s Contents Hub, who produced “I’ll Protect the Boss”’s OST commented, “I realized Jaejoong’s professionalism, once again, through the recording of the track”.

In related news, “MINE”, an exhibition showing various photos from JYJ’s world tour will take place at “In Sa Gallery”, starting on August 12th for 10 days. JYJ in their every day appeal, as well as their sides as actors and singers, can be found at the exhibition.
