JYJ’s 200 Million Won Donation to Thai Flood Relief Makes Positive Difference

The positive effects from JYJ’s big donation towards the flood relief efforts in Thailand have been revealed. JYJ’s C-Jes Entertainment recently revealed a video on its YouTube account from World Vision.

After suffering its worst floods in 50 years last year and affection over 9 million individuals in Thailand, the JYJ members gave a two hundred million won donation to World Vision and its recovery efforts in the Southeast Asian nation.

The video revealed scenes from the devastation last year and also included a closer look at how countless Thai students were displaced and affected by the floods.

JYJ’s donations went towards putting together ‘education kits’- which were backpacks stuffed with school supplies- that were then given to schools and students in the affected regions. Happy students holding up their new JYJ-sponsored backpacks and school supplies were seen expressing their gratitude in the video.

On the positive difference they made, the JYJ members shared, “Seeing the children smiling so brightly while holding up the school supplies made us feel regretful we could not be there to deliver the items in person. We hope to continue to make meaningful donations to those in need.”
