According to his management company Key East, because of the popularity of his most recent drama, Kim Soohyun has been contracted to record 10 new CFs. If you include the three, which have already been shot and the upcoming of two others, he has filmed more than 15 CFs with a total income of 50 million KRW ($44,800 USD).

The CFs are also of many varying genres and products such as clothes, cameras and other electronics. This presence in Korean commercials clearly shows Kim Soohyun's growing popularity.

He can also boast that "Moon Embraces the Sun" has held viewer ratings higher than 40% and his character, King Soohwon, has captured the hearts of the female members of the audience. Kim Soohyun's flood of CF offers is very similar to what happened to Lee Minho during the popularity of "Boys Over Flowers."

The curse of this sudden popularity is that after the completion of filming for "Moon Embraces the Sun," Kim Soohyun will be continuously filming CFs without any rest period according to his schedule.
