YG Entertainment confirmed reports that Big Bang's leader G-Dragon will be releasing a birthday album. According to reports released yesterday, G-Dragon will be releasing a new album in August, which will also coincide with his birthday.
Back in 2009, the agency made the same move after releasing his debut solo album "Heartbreaker" on August 18th, his 21st birthday.
It was further reported that, "G-Dragon has spent a lot of time reflecting over the last year, thinking about the new direction he wants to take with Big Bang and as a solo artist. He will kick-off his solo activities on his birthday in August."
The second album from G-Dragon will also feature a track from U.S. rapper Ludacris, which was produced by G-Dragon himself. Previously, the agency confirmed that G-Dragon and Ludacris collaborated for a track which they finished late last year. The two met in September last year after Ludacris visited South Korea to sign an agreement with YG Entertainment.
