On December 14th, producers Seensee Company announced that the popular SBS drama "You're Beautiful" would be remade into a musical next year in July. It will have its first curtain on July 31st until September 11th at the M Theater in Sejong Center in Seoul.
The drama was made popular in 2009 and features Jang Geunseuk, Park Shinhye, CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa, and FT Island's Lee Hongki. "He's Beautiful" tells the story of Park Shinhye's character, Go Minyu, disguising herself as a her male twin, Go Minam, and joins the popular band A.N.JELL, which consists of Hwang Taekyung (Jang Geunseuk), Jeremy (Lee Hongki), and Kang Shinwoo (Jung Yonghwa).
"You're Beautiful" was sold in several countries and was recently remade in Japan featuring Japanese actress and former singer Miori Takimoto (for Park Shinhye's role) , Kis-My-Ft2's Tamamori Yuta (for Jang Geunsuk's role) and Fujigaya Taisuke (for Yonghwa's role), Hey!Say!JUMP's Yaotome Hikaru (for Lee Hongki's role).
