Following the release of their newest single, "The Boys" and its Korean and English music videos, Girls' Generation has received lots of attention and fan support on both American and Korean websites.

On Twitter, fans tweeted the hashtag #GirlsGenerationDay and were able to get it, as well as "SNSD" and "THE BOYS", trending on the site. The music video also became the 10th most watched music video on Youtube shortly after its release.

The group is now officially listed on the website of Interscope Records, their American label, alongside high-profile artists such as Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas, M.I.A., and Timbaland. Their artist profile currently has no information, but will likely be updated as their promotions continued. "The Boys" is also being advertised on the front page of the iTunes store in several countries across the world, and is charting on the website's "Top Songs" chart as well as its Pop chart in not only the USA but the United Kingdom.
