TVXQ becomes the first Korean artist set to perform in 5 domes in Japan

TVXQ officially kickstarted their first world tour "Catch Me" last weekend, and news of their Japan stops have been revealed. Set to hit their Japan-leg tour early next spring, TVXQ will make history by becoming the first Korean artists to tour through 5 arena domes in Japan.

The first stop for TVXQ will be on April 27, 2013, performing at the Saitama Super Arena (in stadium mode), followed by concerts at the Tokyo Dome, the Kyocera Dome Osaka, the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome, the Sapporo Dome and Nagoya Dome.

This will make TVXQ the first Korean ever to hold a five-dome tour. They follow international artists Bon Jovi (2003), Eagles (2004) and Billy Joel (2006) to achieve such a feat.

Dome stages are usually an artists "dream stage" when performing in Japan, and TVXQ's popularity in the country and worldwide can be viewed through their upcoming Japan-leg stop.

In their last Japan tour, "TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012~TONE~", the duo attracted 550,000 fans and the audience for their upcoming tour is expected to increase. Not only that, as this is TVXQ's first world tour, they are expected to fascinate fans across the globe with their performances.

TVXQ will also release the Japanese version of "Catch Me" and a new song "I Know" on January 16th.

The duo commented, "We have dreamed of going on a five-dome tour since our debut. We will work hard to showcase our music and great performances and we hope you can give us lots of support and your interest."

Meanwhile, TVXQ will be releasing their repackaged album "Humanoids" on November 26th, followed by promotional activities.
