Big Bang U.S. tour shows sell out in 2 hours

On September 22nd, tickets for Big Bang's two U.S. concert dates were released to the public. It has been recently reported that tickets for said concerts were sold out within 2 hours following their availability on 22nd at 10AM EDT/PDT.

Rich Best, the Executive Vice President of Booking for Live Nation/Southern California, said, "For a group to sell out their first-ever U.S. shows is fantastic, and to do so in major arenas such as Honda Center and the Prudential Center is a tremendous accomplishment. But to do it this quickly, that’s simply unheard of."

Earlier this year in March, Big Bang kick started their first world tour BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY TOUR 2012," beginning with a 3-day concert in South Korea, which immediately sold out. Performing in front of more than 210,000 fans, Big Bang than followed up with a series of shows in Japan. Big Bang continued on to China, selling a record of 32,000 tickets with three shows. All in all, everywhere Big Bang has visited, the tickets have sold out quickly.

Big Bang will be making their first stop in the U.S. at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on November 3rd at 8PM local time and the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on November 9th at 8PM local time.
