A representative of YG Entertainment has revealed that Big Bang will return to the stage in February. The group's comeback had previously been planned for March, when they would also hold their "Big Show" concert, but album preparations went so smoothly that the date was pushed forward.

"It has been a year that since Big Bang released a new album under the name of Big Bang," a YG spokesperson told SBS E! Entertainment. "We are working hard on the album. With our original intention, we are preparing a new look for Big Bang, Wait and see the difference." It was also revealed that the group will film the title track's music video this month.

This comeback will be especially important for Big Bang after a tumultuous 2011; member Taeyang even tweeted "NEW BEGINNING" on January 17th after news of the comeback reached the public. However, their comeback has raised even more question marks about the debut of YG's previously announced new girl group. Once rumored to debut in January, it now appears they will debut sometime after March to avoid promoting at the same time as their popular labelmates. Little is still known about the group, with only one finalized member, Superstar K2's Kim Eunbi. 2NE1's leader CL recently told OSEN, “They will not at all be like us, they are of different colors. The girl group looks ready, I know, too, the new group is very excited. You definitely will want to look forward to seeing them.”
