Super Junior is set to put on their "Super Show 4" concert at the Taipei Arena in February, marking the group’s third concert performance at the venue. The "Super Show 4" stop was originally set to have three dates, from February 3rd to the 5th, with the tickets going on sale on December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2012.

Despite earlier reports that Taiwanese ELFs were unhappy with the tickets going on sale during New Years Eve and New Years, forcing them to line up for hours on those two days, the tickets were sold out within 30 minutes on the first day and 17 minutes on the second day, setting a record for the fastest selling tickets in Taiwan.

As the tickets were not available online, many fans had to countdown to the new year in the convenience store, while others arrived and rested at the stores after celebrating the beginning of the new year. Additionally, with the most expensive tickets selling at $4,800TWD, or approximately $159USD, many fans complained prior to the sale of the tickets. The concert organizer explained that there will be special effects involving fire and water for the concert, and thus the cost of the production has increased in comparison to "Super Show 3."

Given the positive ticket sales despite the complaints, the concert organizer announced that they will be adding a 4th date on February 2nd. The tickets for the additional show will go on sale on January 7th. With this added date, Super Junior sets the record for the most concert dates by a foreign artist or group in Taiwan. The number of dates in Taiwan has also increased from two for "Super Show 2" to three for "Super Show 3," and now to four for "Super Show 4."
