IU to release a new song in Korea

After sweeping the charts last year with her second album "Last Fantasy," IU plans to follow up with the release of a new track in Korea.

However, nothing has been set in stone as of yet because of IU’s plans to promote in Japan. IU is scheduled to release the Japanese version of her hit track “Good Day” in Japan on the 21st of March, and she plans to focus on her Japanese activities for the time being.

IU is also currently discussing with her agency on whether the new song will be a follow-up to her second album in the form of a repackaged edition, or released as a digital single.

A representative of IU informed OSEN on the 10th of February that IU will be focusing primarily on her Japanese promotions during March, and it will be difficult to determine when she will be able to promote her new song in Korea.
