It was Jang Guensuk's birthday this last week, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed by his fans, especially those who are members of Cri J, his official fan club.
Born in 1987, the young actor/musician turned 25 on September 26th. In honor of his birthday, the members of Cri J collected 926 won per person to make the grand total of 9.26 million won to mark the date of their star's birthday.
The funds were collected at Jang Geunsuk's Seoul concert held back in July. His agency, Y Tree Media, announced that the donation (~$8,306 USD) was donated to charity on Jang Geunsuk's birthday. Mirroring the motion of his fan club, he followed suit and matched the amount his fans collected and donated the money to the Namsanwon Social Welfare Organization.
Currently in Germany, Jang Geunsuk is shooting commercials. When he is done with that, he will travel to Fukuoka in Japan for that portion of his second Asian tour, "The Cri Show 2."
Anyone looking forward to the Japanese leg of "The Cri Show 2" in November?
