CNBLUE’s first full-length Japanese album places 1st on Oricon Weekly Chart

CNBLUE has hit number one with their first full-length Japanese album.

Following the band’s first place debut on the Oricon daily chart with the band’s first full-length album, Code Name Blue on August 29, the band maintained its heavy sales to place first on the Oricon weekly chart after selling 44,000 copies in its first week.

The accomplishment follows a string of success by Korean bands in Japan with CNBLUE being the third Korean band to have its first full-length album place first on the Oricon weekly albums chart after FT Island’s first full length album, Five Treasure Island and Jang Keun Suk’s Just Crazy, which were both released last year.

Code Name Blue contains a total of 13 tracks including Come On and In My Head.
Come this October, CNBLUE will embark on a six-city arena tour in Japan.
