With only two days until the Mnet Asian Music Awards in Singapore, various celebrities have already started to reveal the rehearsals and other behind the scenes stories from the upcoming event. Earlier today, it was reported that Super Junior and 2NE1, along with YB, Simon D and Dynamic Duo flew to the country to prepare for the event on November 29.
Since then, members of the group have been updating their personal accounts on Twitter and me2day, revealing their own preparations for the event.
Earlier today, 2NE1's Dara confirmed that the group went straight to rehearsals upon their arrival in Singapore. She updated her me2day account with a post saying, "Wassup! ^.^ We’ve arrived in Singapore!!! Ppabam!!! As soon as we arrived at the airport, we came right down to rehearse~! It’s mid-winter in Korea! But I think it’s midsummer here! I had to take off my coat ~ after a long time of wearing it Ke ke The air is very warm~! This time for MAMA ~ Please expect 2NE1′s performances a lot~! ^.^ Singapore Blackjacks, hello?"
Fellow member Bom, also updated her Twitter account stating, "Arrived in Singapore!!!!! Now gogo to meet the fans~~~~!!!!*^^*" Despite suffering from severe flu, Bom still decided to attend the event and might lipsync for their perfomance if she doesn't recover.
On another note, Super Junior's Siwon and Yesung have been updating their fans on their ongoing rehearsals after arriving in Singapore late today.
Super Junior's Yesung shared a funny photo of him with Eunhyuk and Donghae backstage. In the said update, he revealed that, "This is Singapore .. I’m giving singing lesson for 2 dongsaengs to have a better performance on tomorrow and the day after tomorrow~~ ㅋㅋ"
Meanwhile, Siwon also revealed a glimpse of the stage, by posting, "are you ready to scream SINGAPORE? let’s have an unforgettable sweet evening together on tuesday!"
