JYJ's Yoochun involved in a car accident last April 26th

JYJ's Park Yoochun was involved in a car accident last April 26th. C-Jes Entertainment confirmed the news by stating that the van hit a truck with the front bumper damaged. He was reportedly on his way to the filming set for ongoing drama "Rooftop Prince."
Despite the accident, Yoochun reportedly continued filming for "Rooftop Prince" that day and even attended the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards the day after. He reportedly complained of neck and back pains, but delayed any medical examination to proceed with his schedules. The agency also assured that Yoochun will have a scheduled check-up on a later date.

Currently, Yoochun is pursuing his individual activites and is playing the lead role in ongoing drama "Rooftop Prince."

JYJ’s Junsu Unveils Teaser for Upcoming Solo Album

JYJ’s Kim Junsu has unveiled the teaser poster for his album as well as the album’s name.

On April 30, JYJ’s C-Jes Entertainment revealed the teaser photo for Kim Junsu′s first solo album. The black-and-white photo shows Xiah Junsu in a cloak in a dark and eerie concept style. In addition, the album’s title was revealed to be Xia . The self-made title song,Tarantallegra, is said to mean a spell that causes one to dance.

Xia will be released on May 4 and has already begun taking preorders online.

The second music video teaser will be unveiled on YouTube on May 2 and the jacket photo revealed on May 4.

In addition, on May 19 and May 20, Kim Junsu will kick off his solo concert tour in Seoul before moving on to Thailand and a total of six cities in Asia for his first Asia tour.

JYJ’s Junsu Names His First Solo Album “Xia”

JYJ’s Junsu released the teaser poster and the name of his first solo album after releasing its visual concept, Unequalled, last week.

On April 30, C-jes Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, released the teaser poster of Junsu’s first solo album on JYJ’s official Facebook account (www.facebook.com/CJESJYJ).

In the teaser poster, Junsu is wearing a cloak, showing a dark image. There’s also a phrase that reads Xia Trantellegra, which is the album’s title.

Trantellegra, which is written in a strong style, means a magic spell that makes people dance. It’s the lead track composed by Junsu.

As the teaser poster gives a powerful image of Junsu, people are now curious about the jacket photo, which will be released soon.

A spokesperson for Junsu says, “The title of Junsu’s first solo album is Xia. Xia is a representative identity of Jun Su. It also means a type of album that combines all the talents of Junsu.”

The advance sales for Junsu’s first solo album Xia will start on May 4 on and offline.

The second teaser video of Junsu’s first solo album will be released on May 2 on JYJ’s official YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/CJESJYJ), and the jacket photo will be released on May 4.

Junsu will hold his first concert at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium on May 19 and 20. He will then start his concert tour in Asia. He will hold live concerts in six Asian countries, and it will start in Thailand on May 27. Junsu’s popularity in Thailand was proved as all 3,000 tickets, partially out for sale, were sold out only in ten minutes.

The teaser videos have already reached 10,000,000 total views and counting… The first unit TaeTiSeo has made an all-kill on music charts. The power of nine? Three was enough.

Girls’ Generation‘s first unit group, TaeTiSeo (Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun), made an all kill on national charts with their mini-album ‘Twinkle‘.

What is really turning the heads of the public is the number of views on YouTube for their teaser video. Girls’ Generation, who are leaders in the K-POP boom, recorded explosive numbers with the teaser reveal of their first 3-member unit group.

Taeyeon’s teaser, which was revealed on April 25th, recorded 4,700,000 views as of April 29th. In addition, Tiffany’s and Seohyun’s teasers, which were revealed on the 26th and 27th, respectively, recorded viewer numbers of 3,500,000 and 1,800,000, respectively. Even before they started their official promotions, the teasers of the three members recorded views of over 10,000,000.

The response from charts are also hot. On April 29th, the title song, ‘Twinkle‘, was released. As soon as the song was released, it rose to #1 on various music charts including Melon, Olleh Music, and Mnet.com. In addition, the mini-album also rose to #4 on the American iTunes chart under the ‘Albums’ category and #5 on the Canadian iTunes chart. In Japan, the song rose to #2, proving Girls’ Generation’s popularity across the globe.

‘Twinkle’ has a 1970s-80s disco feel, making a big impression on fans with TaeTiSeo’s unique feel. TaeTiSeo is scheduled to hold their first performance through Mnet‘s ‘MCountdown‘ on May 3rd.

Big Bang concludes two month promotions for ‘ALIVE’

Big Bang has finally wrapped up their two months worth of successful promotions in Korea and will soon be headed to Japan for their Japanese Tour.

The group held their good-bye stage for their mini-album ‘ALIVE‘ on the April 29th live broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘.

Big Bang released their mini-album back on February 29th and swept various music charts, placing on top with all the tracks, in fact “Fantastic Baby” is still ranking high on various music charts. The group has also appeared on many variety programs and talk shows, revealing their strong variety show skills as well as revealing their hidden selves.

Concluding their promotions in Korea, the group will now be focusing on their Wold Tour as they will make five city stops in Japan this May and are expecting to bring in over 150,000 of their Japanese fans. It is said that the tour was originally set for only 10 shows, but was increased to 13 after pre-sales for the tickets sold out.

“Twinkle” is a medium tempo dance track featuring a ’70s/’80s vibe with a catchy melody, and shows off the powerful vocals of the three members. The three girls look quite lovely in the music video.

The Star Awards 2012 ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on April 29th.

As a special guest for the event, Jay Park was invited to put on a special performance for the 6,000 fans in attendance. He performed three songs in total including “Nothing on You“, “Know Your Name” & “Girlfriend“. During the performance of “Girlfriend”, Jay Park serenaded famous Singaporean actress Jeanette Aw and even held her hand.

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk who is known to be an expert dancer admitted that he learned some moves from Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon.

At the ‘I AM‘ showcase that was held April 30th, the SM Entertainment artists shared some behind-the-scenes stories they hadn’t revealed in the past.

Eunhyuk drew a lot of attention this day for admitting, “I learned a lot of my dance moves from Hyoyeon.”

“When we were trainees, Hyoyeon stood out from all the 100 trainees,” he said. “There were a lot of people approaching Hyoyeon to ask for help back then, and I was one of them. I learned a lot from her at the time.”

Kim Hyun Joong collaborates with Japanese group B’z for upcoming single

Kim Hyun Joong has been gaining quite the momentum in Japan, and to add to it, he has just completed his project with the popular Japanese group, B’z.

Key East revealed on May 1st, “Kim Hyun Joong received a song titled ‘Heat’ from the nationally loved Japanese musicians, B’z, and has finished recording. ‘Heat’ will be included in his second single album that will be released in Japan in July.”

This comes after the news of the singer picking B’z as the Japanese musician he likes the most during a press conference before his Japan tour last year. Through Universal Music, Kim Hyung Joong put in a request for a song, and B’z gladly accepted his request.

“It’s an honor to be able to work with the Japanese musician I’ve always liked”, Kim Hyun Joong commented. “During the recording of ‘Heat’, the B’z members gave me advice, and I was able to enjoy the recording session thanks to them. I will greet everyone with a high quality album, so please anticipate it.”

In related news, Kim Hyun Joong is currently preparing for his ‘Kim Hyun Joon Fan Meeting Tour 2012′, which will take place in various cities across Asia, as well as considering various casting offers for his acting career.
