2NE1 to release tracks on upcoming album as separate singles

YG Entertainment has informed allkpop that rather than releasing the entire album at once, 2NE1 will be releasing their upcoming comeback album in staggered releases.

The girls used a similar strategy last year for their 2nd mini album with successful results, and hope that with the staggered releases, each track will be given the spotlight equally.

“Rather than introduce the whole album at once, we want to focus on each song’s promotions,” YG Entertainment said. “Following our first single ‘I Love You’, we will release our second single three weeks later.”

2NE1 will be releasing the tracks starting with ‘I Love You‘, which is another work of Teddy, on July 5th, and their first comeback performance will be held on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on July 8th.

T-ara’s ‘Day by Day’ album jacket + tracklist revealed

T-ara‘s comeback is just around the corner and ahead of its release, the album jacket photo and tracklist have been revealed!

The title track, also titled “Day by Day“, is the work of composer Cho Young Soo and Ahn Young Min, and is expected to be another hit for the girls. The song starts off with what’s described to be Hwayoung‘s “boyish” charm rap, which was helped written by Hwayoung herself.

Another special track to look out for is “Don’t Leave“, which is a ballad that at one point features the emotional exchange between Eunjung‘s vocals and new member Ahreum‘s rap.

As reported earlier, the album is scheduled for release on and offline on July 3rd and the music video for the title track is sure to be one that fans can anticipate.

The funky, cute girl group will be making a comeback after 9 months with new member Ahreum.

Unlike previously released photos of T-ara’s MV, this new batch of teasers show the girls in a more simple, feminine light.

JYJ’s Jaejoong updates fans on Yoochun’s eye infection

JYJ‘s Jaejoong has updated fans on the condition of fellow member Yoochun‘s eye infection.

Jaejoong took to his Twitter and wrote, “For JYJ membership week, the C-jes family worked really hard; fans, please enjoy to your heart’s content~. Although I felt very bad for Yoochun after seeing his [swollen] face today, he was smiling widely while watching the exposition [progress]~. Don’t worry too much ^^.”

Along with the tweet, Jaejoong uploaded a picture of himself and fellow member Junsu standing in front of a huge JYJ poster. The event at which the picture was taken was at the ‘JYJ Membership Week’ exposition organized by JYJ and C-Jes Entertainment.

During this event, we reported that Yoochun did not take questions from reporters. It has been revealed that the reason behind this is because Yoochun caught an eye infection, and as a result his face became swollen. Specifically, Yoochun seems to have an acute case of conjunctivitis, also known as the pink eye or Apollo eye, caused by internal bleeding. It is a common eye infection, which induces a stinging kind of pain.

Due to these events, it seems that Jaejoong found it necessary to communicate to his fans about Yoochun’s health and his thoughts concerning the exposition.

Fans who read the tweet replied, “So Park Yoochun-ssi had conjunctivitis,” “I like that Jaejoong-ssi [took the time to] deliver this piece of news to us like that,” and, “Even though you probably caught the eye infection after working so hard, [please] get well soon.”

Kim Hyun Joong, JYJ Junsu, 2AM Seulong, and more participate in FC MEN Soccer match

On June 27th, celebrity football team FC MEN, led by captain JYJ Junsu, was spotted engaging in a friendly match against the Suwon home team, the Suwon Samsung Bluewings at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.

Many famous performers joined the FC MEN team for the informal and open game, as Kim Hyun Joong, Suh Ji Suk, Lee Wan, and 2AM‘s Seulong were present as FC MEN team members. Although the celebrities appear to be having a great time in the pictures shown, one of the highlights during the event is said to be when Kim Hyun Joong missed a chance to score, and was thus disappointed.

FC MEN, a group composed of celebrities of diverse talents, is the fifth Suwon football team, and it has been around for a while. Last year, the FC MEN members were even able to snag the ’2011 Peace Star Cup’, as the winners of the celebrity soccer championships.

JYJ’s Junsu shows his affection for his look-alike, Insoo of MYNAME

JYJ‘s Junsu sent his love to his look-alike, Insoo of MYNAME.

On June 28th, Insoo posted on MYNAME’s official Twitter, “A big present arrived for me, someone who has received a lot of help from the fact that people commented that I look like Junsu sunbae ever since my debut… Each [of his] word is a like a big lesson for me…You’re the best! Let’s get food sometime and play soccer, Junsu hyung!!! Thank you!!^^” along with a photo.

In the picture, Insoo is seen holding up a signed album from the sunbae his has looked up since his past. The hand-written message from Junsu reads, “Let’s get food sometime. Are you good at soccer?” showing Junsu’s affections for his younger look-alike.

JYJ Kim Jae Joong Treated Like a Goddess in Thailand?

We all know that JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong is pretty, but a small town in Thailand sees him a little differently.

A photo was revealed through an online community describing how a television program in Thailand, which deals with strange and mysterious phenomena, introduced a small town that believes in a goddess captured inside a small photo.

The catch? The ‘goddess’ in the picture turned out to be none other than Kim Jae Joong.

The picture of the k-pop star was randomly taken by a villager and since then, the ‘woman’ in the picture has been treated as a goddess who gives protection over the town. The townspeople carry the picture around their necks and even perform rites for their goddess.

The photo of Kim Jae Joong was actually taken when he sported platinum blond hair for an album.

Netizens, who saw the photos, commented, “He must really be beautiful to be mistaken to be a goddess instead of a god,” “And it turns out their goddess is actually a Korean man,” and “How devastated they’ll be when they find out who he really is.”

In the meantime, Kim Jae Joong is currently acting in the MBC drama, Time Slip Dr. Jin.

Super Junior reveals tracklist for comeback album

The tracklist for Super Junior's comeback album "Sexy, Free & Single" has been revealed!

Scheduled to be released via online music portals on July 1, Super Junior's sixth Korean album "Sexy, Free & Single" will have a total of ten songs, with each track showcasing a different musical style and dimension of the group.

From R&B styled songs to dance tracks to ballads, fans can look forward to hearing a variety of musical genres from Super Junior.

The title track "Sexy, Free & Single," which is said to have a combination of R&B and house music, will be about the success stories of sexy, free and single men. With a catchy chorus and easy-to-remember lyrics, "Sexy, Free and Single" is bound to find favor with all Super Junior fans.

Also on the album is the upbeat R&B styled "From You," which is a song that Super Junior has dedicated to ELF, their worldwide fan base. "From You" will also be promoted along with the title track "Sexy Free & Single," so fans can look forward to seeing the group perform both songs on all music shows.

Another track on Super Junior's comeback album is "Gulliver." With lyrics written by Eunhyuk, "Gulliver" will use the novel "Gulliver's Travels" as a way to describe the charismatic charm of each Super Junior member. Super Junior releases teaser video for “Sexy, Free & Single”

Super Junior released their first image teasers starting with member Eunhyuk last week, who was followed by Donghae, Leeteuk, Ryeowook, Yesung, Shindong, Kyuhyun, Siwon, Kangin and Sungmin.

Just recently, the full tracklist and descriptions for each song was revealed ahead of their album's release.

Super Junior is set to release their 6th Korean album, "Sexy, Free & Single," promoting the title track of the same name, on July 1st online prior to releasing it in stores. This will mark Kangin's return to the group, as well as Leeteuk's last album before entering the military later this year.

The teaser features Super Junior's new concept and style, dancing in a very intricate looking room. The use of the 360 camera that SM Entertainment is known for using in many of their artists music video is seen. The catchy chorus is played throughout the teaser video, revealing the use of the voice synthesizer.

Wooyoung gets humiliated by 2PM members

It was been revealed that Wooyoung was humiliated by his fellow 2PM members.

2PM’s Junho uploaded a screen capture of a chat room between the members onto his personal Twitter on June 27th and wrote, “Uh oh… nobody went to the basement. A sly escape.”

Excluding Nichkhun who is currently in Thailand, Wooyoung invited members Taecyeon, Chansung, Junsu, and Junho into a Kakao Talk chat room and sent them a message saying, “Come to the basement if you want to practice dancing with me.”

To this Chansung replied, “Let’s do it together next time Woodong!” and exited the chat room. Taecyeon exited the chat room without writing anything, Junsu did not even bother to check the message, and Junho screen captured this event which brought laughter to fans.

Fans commented saying, “A really cool escape,” “So cute. 2PM’s really funny,” and “2PM’s character shows through this one screen cap.”

On another note, Wooyoung began his solo album promotions on June 28th at ‘Mnet ’20s Choice‘.

JYJ Junsu’s Philanthropy Efforts Spread Overseas

JYJ Junsu‘s philanthropy efforts have spread overseas to his Taiwan fans.

The Kim Junsu fan club in Taiwan has recently donated school supplies for 500 children at the “Xia Junsu Village” in Cambodia, which Junsu sponsors himself. The Taiwanese fan club donated supplies like notebooks, pencils, erasers, rulers, pencil cases, pencil sharpeners and more. Each supply was marked with a “Xia” logo.

There were many instances when Korean fans made donations in the past. But this particular donation is very significant because it is the first overseas donation made to “Xia Junsu Village.” This donation was made to celebrate Junsu’s first solo concert in Taiwan.

The Taiwanese fans visited Junsu’s parents, who were there for Junsu’s concert on June 22, and gave them the donation supplies to give to the “Xia Junsu Village.” On the day of the concert, fans gathered cash on the spot and raised about $10,000 dollars to donate.

The Taiwanese fans stated, “As we’ve watched Junsu make various donation and philanthropy efforts, we were deeply moved. We also wanted to join in our Junsu’s good deeds. It is a small gift, but we hope it will help the children in making their dreams and futures.”

SHINee announces official Japanese fan club a year after debut

Popular Korean male group SHINee has announced the creation of their official Japanese fan club following the successful end of their Tokyo concert in Japan.

SHINee began their Japan tour on April 25th starting in Fukuoka and will be visiting a total of 7 cities in Japan on their tour, with estimation that they will attract over 200,000 people nationwide. The group is still undergoing their arena tour, titled, "THE FIRST JAPAN ARENA TOUR 'SHINee WORLD 2012.'" SHINee recently ended their first two-day concert in Tokyo at the Yoyogi National First Gymnasium on June 23rd and 24th in front of 24,000 enthusiastic fans.

In June 2007, SHINee released their debut Japanese single, "Replay - Kimi Wa Boku No Everything," and has celebrated their first anniversary in Japan at the Tokyo concert.

SHINee held a surprise party stage for fans in order to celebrate their anniversary on June 23rd, and announced their surprise to fans: they would be creating their official Japanese fan club ("SHINee World J") in the fall.

Local media Sankei Sports and Nikkan Sports revealed on June 25th and once again confirmed the creation of the fan club, to which they quoted SHINee giving their thanks to fans.

Meanwhile, SHINee will be making concert stops in Hiroshima on June 20th and July 1st.

Kim Soohyun to feature in upcoming “Running Man” episode

Popular actor Kim Soohyun has been recently spotted in the streets of Seoul while filming for an upcoming episode of SBS’s “Running Man.” The rest of the cast members were also seen rushing to places such as a campsite in Mapogu and the Han River. Pictures of the filming were recently uploaded onto an online community site. Although Kim Soohyun does not appear in the pictures, fans were able to capture the expressions of the "running men," Kim Jongkook, Kang Gary, and Yoo Jaesuk.

A broadcasting representative has since confirmed this sighting. “Kim Soohyun is currently working on shooting for ‘Running Man.’” Although an air date has not been confirmed yet, netizens everywhere are growing in anticipation for this exciting episode.

Meanwhile, Kim Soohyun is currently promoting his most recent movie, “The Thieves,” which will be opening in theaters on July 25th. In the film, Kim Soohyun is featured alongside actors Kim Hyesoo, Jun Jihyun, and Kim Yunsuk.
