Yonghwa: Drama. Japanese drama.
Jungshin: Do you know the drama ‘Pride‘?
DJ: Pride? Kimura Takuya?

DJ: Recent dramas?
Jonghyun: I watch both recent and old dramas.
DJ: Since you live together, do you watch it together?
Yonghwa: Individually.
Minhyuk: As we watch individually, there are a variety of dramas that we saw and we could learn a lot from them.
DJ: Do you have any secret that only members know about it?
Yonghwa: Secret.
DJ: Please let me know.
Yonghwa: Jungshin is always the same. He is afraid of riding on the plane.
DJ: Who?
Jonghyun: Jungshin. And he sleeps with his eyes open.
DJ: Sleeps with eyes open? Are you scared?
Jonghyun: Yes, I am scared.
DJ: It ‘s funny.
Jungshin: Thank you.
DJ: How about Minhyuk? Please reveal any secret that you know.
Minhyuk: I can’t watch scary movies.
DJ: Horror movie?
Jungshin: Like ‘Saw‘
Minhyuk: I hate it.
DJ: I will give you the DVD of an American horror movie that I starred in. It’s a quite scary movie like ‘Saw’. How about Jonghyun? Don’t you have anything about him?
Minhyuk: Jonghyun Hyung has beard, plenty of beard.
DJ: He has a lot?
Minhyuk: Yes. At night, his beard grow so much.
DJ: He doesn’t look like (he has them).
Jonghyun: I shaved this morning.
DJ: You look clean now.
Jonghyun: I am fine now.
DJ: You are very manly. Your male hormone is strong. Next, please tell me Yonghwa’s secret.
Yonghwa: I don’t have any.
Jungshin: Yonghwa Hyung sleeps on his stomach.
Jonghyun: Right. He is not normal.
DJ: Like a baby? Cute.
DJ: There are 3 new songs in your major debut single. I will play one more song. Jonghyunm shi, please introduce it.
CNBLUE: This is CNBLUE’s Rain of Blessing, please have a listen.

♫ [Rain of Blessing] ♫

DJ: That was CNBLUE’s Rain of Blessing. This week we are with Korea’s anticipated and popular band CNBLUE. You have performed street live in Shinjuku. Recently you held free live performance in Shinjuku.
Yonghwa: At that time, I saw audience from stage and thought about how many they came. I heard that they were about 7,000 people.
DJ: 7,000 people? Awesome!
Yonghwa: Yes. I was really surprised.
DJ: When you performed there long ago, there was no audience. 2 years ago? 3 years ago? The time goes by and it became 7,000 people.
Jonghyun: It was the same place.
DJ: It’s such an amazing thing. Were you touched?
Yonghwa: Yes.
Jonghyun: I was surprised.
Yonghwa: So, next year it will be in Tokyo Dome.
DJ: 50,000 people? It will be increased a lot.
Yonghwa: I want to do that. Everyone please help us.
DJ: I think it will be possible? I think you can do it with this popularity, and with this force.
Yonghwa: Let’s keep it up.
Jonghyun: Let’s work hard.
DJ: Today, as a K-pop special. We have invited CNBLUE to our studio. Thank you so much.
CNBLUE: Thank you.
DJ: Don’t you think that the four members are so close to each other? Before the broadcast, while they were waiting, I saw them talking to each other happily and I thought they were cute. Before their (dream) Tokyo Dome’s concert, CNBLUE will hold a Japan tour in December. Tokyo concert will be on December 16, Friday, at Yoyogi National Stadium, the 1st hall. I want to go and see it. That’s all for this week with Korean popular band CNBLUE who released Japan major debut single “ In My Head”.

Jang Geun Suk sends his ‘sasaeng’ fans a warning

Source + Image: OSEN via Nate

Fed up with the constant breaches of privacy, actor Jang Geun Suk left multiple warnings to his sasaeng fans through Twitter. ‘Sasaeng‘ fans are often described as aggressive fans who follow their idol around 24/7 — in a word, they’re scarily obsessive.

On October 30th, Jang Geun Suk tweeted, “Saseng fan kids. You guys are probably deceiving yourselves, following me and talking about how you guys know my every move. But you know what? By doing so, you guys are becoming that much more distant from me. Laugh while you can ^^ I’m a scary guy when I’m angry~”

He also tweeted, “I remember your faces clearly. Sasaeng kids would love it when I say that I remember them, right? Like I said before, laugh while you can~ You guys are out now!”

Jang Geun Suk also revealed that ‘Sasaeng’ fans weren’t just found in Korea, but in China and Japan as well. “I don’t mind people following me, but there is a certain ‘limit’“. “I like Japan and the Japanese people^^ I just don’t like sasaeng fans~ I like China and the Chinese people, [it's] just that I don’t like sasaeng fans~ Now, if I say don’t follow me~ Just stop then. That’s what you call a ‘limit’~“.

He concluded, “By stressing this ‘limit’, I’m leaving this message in the hopes that the excessive affection doesn’t become obnoxious.”

Let’s hope his ‘fans’ get the message and give him some room to breathe.

Kim Kyu Jong - Yesterday Lyrics (hangul+Romanization)

Hangul

믿기지 않아
My love
I can’t stand it anymore
내 삶이 망가져도
어제 보다 슬픈 오늘에 비어있는
내 안 네 자리에
하염없이 눈물이 나오는 걸까
애타게 널 불러 봐도
보이지가 않는 너인데
영원히 돌아보지 않을래
yesterday
나난나난나난나난나
yesterday
나난나난나난나난나
돌아와 줘
끝내 넌 돌아오질 않아
우리 사랑은 어제까지 영원히
돌아보지 않을래
yesterday

G.NA speaks about K-Pop at the NetKAL summit in LA

source : http://www.allkpop.com

Solo artist G.NA attended the NetKAL (Network of Korean American Leaders) conference in L.A. at USC Davidson Conference Center as a representative of Korean singers.

G.NA was introduced as “K-POP’s NO.1 Artist”, and after receiving a warm welcome from the audience, she gave a heartfelt speech about her road to becoming a singer.

When asked “How popular is K-Pop right now?”, she answered, “I went to many different Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan, and learned that so many people have love for Korean singers. Recently, I’ve been able to experience realtime feedback from countries I’ve never been to before in Europe and South America through SNS.”

She continued, “Recently, when I was on MTV in New York with 4minute and B2ST, I was really surprised. Seeing all the fans gathered at Times Square, I thought that this demonstrated the [international] reaction to K-Pop and felt a sense of responsibility.”

Reflecting on the “future of K-Pop”, G.NA said, “Starting with something small, as Korean culture spreads little by little, I think it’s important for it to seep into people all over the world so that they can gradually get used to it.”

She also stated, “I believe that in the future, as I keep singing on stage, even more opportunities will present themselves. I want to provide good songs for you wherever I am in the world.”

G.NA’s speech at the summit received loud applause from 200 media and entertainment representatives. She later peformed her hit songs, “Top Girl” and “Black & White”, and spoke with local record label representatives, hinting at a possibility of a U.S. debut.

[Scans|Trans] CNBLUE in Tower Record Magazine – October 20 Issue #330

Source | Credit: @2kiko
Translated by: CNBLove @ cnbluestorm

CNBLUE

They made a record of 100,000 sales in Korea, on the other hand they had knight-errant and indie activities since 2009 here in Japan. The “YOUNG ELITE = CNBLUE” finally had their major debut in Japan. They graced splendidly the one-man live concert at Yokohama Arena.

The musicality of the members is a mixture of American-style rock and pop music are crystallized in their debut single “In My Head”. Now we approach them on what they are looking for in the future.

-Your last indie live concert at Yokohama Arena was successful.

JongHyun (Guitar & Vocal): “Yes. Firstly, I’d like to thank our fans who have supported us for the last 2 years of indie days to build up our experiences.”

JungShin (Bass): “Although it was also a large venue, we would feel the unity with the audiences. I was so pleased”

YongHwa (Vocal & Guitar): “We performed at arena this time…It made me realise that our music and live performance at arena were the one we make up with our fans. We have already major debuted in Korea, we couldn’t really say we were indie…. When we had our fist live performance in Japan, there were only 4 audiences (laugh). But 2,000 audiences came to our live in 6 months. I never forget about it. I’d like to make live concerts with everyone in many places.”

MinHyuk (Drum): “Although it’s important that we enjoy performing, it’s important more we make our audiences enjoy a lot too. We could do that at arena and I really enjoyed the live concert.”

-When you started the band activity, did you have the vision what you want to be, like “we want to do this kind of music” or “we want to be like this”?

MinHyuk: “What we talked from the beginning was ‘We don’t want to stick to a particular genre. We want to be a durable even we get older.’ We also want to have a lot of live concerts and release many albums.”

JongHyun: “We don’t want to decide the direction where we are heading for, we’d like to have diversity and we want to make it with our fans as well”

YongHwa: “When I compose, I think it’s important when someone listens to my song and say ‘wow, this is a good piece’, rather than ‘I want to compose this’. I always try to compose pieces that make listeners fell good and pleased.”

-Who are your admired bands or musicians?

JungShin: “It’s MR.BIG.”

YongHwa: “I like Bon Jovi a lot. Also I’m currently into MGMT and SOULWAX, I like their electronic element. I’d like to produce such element in our band and I’m searching for it”

JongHyun: “I like Bon Jovi as a band, too. I also like Eric Clapton and John Mayer as solo artists. But the music we pursue is like flumpool, BUMP OF CHICKEN, Mr. Children, or B’z from Japanese artists, the music that is loved by a lot of people.”

MinHyuk: “I like MAROON5 and LINKIN PARK. I like the refined music like band music with synthesizer’s sound. I want to be like Roger Taylor who can play drum and sing.”

-While I was listening to your talks, four of you have multicolored music preferences.

It’s not like ‘We want to play punk rock.’ or ‘We want to play hard rock.’, but I can see that ‘We want to play the rock that can reach to a lot of people, and we want to create a huge energy from it.”

YongHwa: “Yes, indeed. To encourage a lot of people with the music– I think it’s the power of music and the meaning of playing the music.”

-The major debut single “In My Head” is the exact piece the that showed such ambitions in crystal clear. All of three tracks have different directions, but what you want to achieve is ‘the unity through the music’.

YongHwa: “Yes, I think it’s important. But this time, we put a strong meaning to introduce ‘We are the band like this’. We put more effort to express our own colour. In the past, we discussed ‘what is our own colour’….but our music have the tune of various genres (laugh). We ended up saying ‘The tune of various genres is our own colour’. It’s a pity to decide it right now, as we have a lot of musical genres that we have yet to try.”

-You all are still young, yet you’ve already found out your own way ahead through your live performances both in Korea and Japan. I can see you are stepping forward by major debut that is said as your ‘pass point’, and it’s included in “In My Head”.

YongHwa: “Yes, it’s true. We saw LINKIN PARK’s live performance the other day (CNBLUE was chosen to perform as the opening act for LINKIN PARK’s live concerts at Makuhari Messe on 10th September), I thought ‘Wow. They are very cool’, ‘Can we be like them someday.’ We want to be the band that everyone aspires for. We know we still have to grow up. We’d like to perform perfectly and be a cool band steadily.”

JongHyun: “We’d like to perform at many of rock festivals. We want a lot of rock fans to know us. It’d be great if we can perform the opening act for B’z.”

YongHwa: “Wow, Super!!” (laugh)

JongHyun: “I’d like to say ‘B’z coming next.” (laugh)

Ha Ji Won was criticized for having no talent as a rookie

Source & Image : MyDaily via Naver

h
On October 26th, a popular entertainment program on SBS got to sit down with actress Ha Ji Won for an interview. Considering her A-list status now, they asked if she was ever criticized during her rookie days.

“People told me that I had no talent, that I had no social skills, and that they didn’t like to associate themselves with me,” she admitted.

“Celebrities have informal social events quite often, but I was so reserved that they thought I was lame. When I heard things like that, I doubted myself as a celebrity.”

But once the actress performed a cover of Wax‘s “Oppa“, and the naysayers never uttered the same words again.

Jang Geun Suk’s foreign schedules causes frustration for ‘Love Rain’ producers

Source: Ilgan Sports via Naver

KBS‘s highly-anticipated drama, ‘Love Rain‘, is experiencing some turbulence due to Jang Geun Suk‘s busy overseas schedules.

According to an insider related to the issue, shooting for the drama came to an ‘all-stop’ for two weeks because of the male lead’s Japanese activities. “Director Yoon Suk Ho recently brought all the managers together to go over schedules.” he said. “Because Jang Geun Suk paid attention only to his foreign schedules, the director had to step up to the plate. It’s a rare case for the director to personally meet with the managers.”

Jang Geun Suk recently kicked off his Japanese Arena Tour, and also has his first Chinese album to promote as well. In short, his schedule is packed.

“The shooting schedule is considerably backed up,” the insider revealed. “We were supposed to have completed five episodes by now, but only got through one. Jang Geun Suk keeps leaving in the middle of this situation, so the directors and the other cast members are having a hard time.”

Jang Geun Suk also raised eyebrows by bringing his own filming crew on-set, purportedly to film footage for a making-of video. “It’s not enough to harm the production, but since it’s Director Yoon’s first time dealing with it, he doesn’t know what to think of it.”

‘Love Rain’, which also stars SNSD‘s YoonA as the female lead, is scheduled to be broadcast in early 2012.

After releasing the preview to their promotional video for their 2nd Japanese single "Yayaya" a few days ago, the full video has been released to the public and has already begun airing Japanese television.

Unlike its Korean counterpart, the Japanese "Yayaya" PV does not have a "storyline" to be followed. Instead, group and solo shots are seen, and no one is taken by T-ara as hostage. There are, however, additional scenes in which the members of T-ara are playing around with boxing gloves and bow and arrows.

T-ara's 2nd single "Yayaya" is set to be released on November 30th. In addition to gearing up for promotions in Japan, T-ara is also preparing for their return to South Korea in November.

JYJ’s song for ‘Penzal Q’, “Don’t Be Sick”, to be distributed for free

Source + Photo: TVreport, eDaily

Last month, it was reported that JYJ was appointed as the endorsement models for Chong Geun Dang Pharmaceutical‘s new painkiller brand, ‘Penzal Q’. The score for the commercial song for the advertisements, “Don’t Be Sick”, was revealed at the end of September, and the song was aired through television advertisements beginning on October 1st.

As soon as the ads started airing, requests for the release of the full song flooded in. Chong Geun Dang, in response to the requests, revealed that they will distribute the song for free starting on October 25th through the official ‘Penzal Q’ website (www.penzalq.com) as well as their facebook page (www.facebook.com/penzalQ).

“Don’t Be Sick” is a ballad about caring for a sick girlfriend, and sung by the crooners of JYJ.

Chong Geun Dang stated, “With the popularity of JYJ, many have expressed interest in the background song for the advertisement sung by JYJ themselves… We have decided to start this service [of providing free downloads] to help ease the pain that people suffer from due to stress of everyday life through the mellow music.”

Check out the CF below and :35 second version of the song below.

Unfortunately, as Chong Geun Dang led us to believe, the song available for download doesn’t seem to match up with the one in the CF above.

You know the girls
Bring the boys out
흔들리지 말고 그댄 자릴 지켜
원래 전쟁 같은 삶을 사는 인간인걸
너는 왜 yes fly high
벌써 왜 you fly high 포기해
Oh 넌 멀었잖아
너의 집념을 보여줘 지구를 좀
흔들어줘 모두가 널 볼 수 있게
역사는 새롭게 쓰여지게 될 걸

Source: 10Asiae
